And the whole family is along for the ride.

The Duchess of Cambridge‘s past few months have undoubtedly been busier than most – it’s hardly surprising therefore that she’s taking a couple of months off.

Giving birth to a baby prince and introducing him to the world hours later in heels and perfect make up would be enough. But she has also had her wedding anniversary, Princess Charlotte‘s third birthday and her sister Pippa Middleton’s baby news to celebrate. Not to mention the royal wedding and the Queen’s two birthdays.

The 36-year-old initially laid low in her Kensington Palace home with her family of five after Prince Louis‘ birth, but royal fans were concerned when the Duchess of Cambridge seemed to cut her maternity leave short, attending the royal wedding, the Queen’s official birthday celebrations and this month, Wimbledon.

Luckily, it looks like she has been whisked off on a relaxing holiday to get some rest, with it reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have taken their three children on holiday to Mustique.

The Caribbean island is a favourite of the royals, operating a no fly over policy, with Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton reportedly vacationing there most years.

The Cambridges were reportedly spotted by royal fans arriving at St Lucia airport, where they boarded a private plane for Mustique - and apparently they weren’t alone, with Kate’s parents and sister Pippa Middleton also spotted.

It’s not the first time Kate and Wills have joined the Middletons in the Caribbean, spending some time in Mustique before Princess Charlotte’s birth in 2015, and while Kate was pregnant with Prince George in 2013.

And to make their first holiday as a family of five even more special, Prince George turns five on Sunday, so there are sure to be lots of tropical celebrations for the prince.
